APT-i was founded to bridge the critical gap between physical job site security and the digital resilience required in the modern construction industry. We are not just another cybersecurity firm; we are construction professionals first, bringing a perspective that can only be gained through years of hands-on experience. We understand the unique challenges and risks you face every day because we’ve lived them.

Our company was established by a second-generation construction professional and U.S. Army veteran who spent over two decades in the industry. This foundation in veteran-led discipline and deep industry credibility is at the core of everything we do.

From Field Experience to Digital Expertise

Our story began with the detailed restoration of Victorian homes in San Francisco and grew to managing complex, multi-million dollar projects. It was there we saw a recurring and dangerous problem: construction companies were unknowingly exposed to significant physical and digital risks. They were adopting new technologies without the specialized security needed to protect their projects, their finances, and their clients.

Driven to solve this, APT-i was created. To ensure our strategies are not only practical but also technically sound, our founder earned a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from the prestigious SANS Technology Institute. This unique combination of expert-level technical skill and decades of real-world construction knowledge is what sets us apart.
